Salt Lake City, UT– June 16, 2006 – Petersen Medical, a leading provider of home medical equipment and dedicated in-home professional service, today announced its financial support of this year’s Salt Lake Asthma Walk and 5K, With this sponsorship, Petersen Medical joins with the Utah chapter of the American Lung Association in support of this year's event-beginning June 17, 2006 in Sugarhouse Park at 9:00 am-to help more than 60,000 Utah residents who suffer from Asthma.

This year's event will celebrate the fourth year that the American Lung Association of Utah, a not-for-profit organization focused on the prevention of lung disease and the promotion of lung health, has held the Asthma Walk. The walk is designed to raise awareness and support for Asthma, a chronic lung disease that affects over 24 million Americans.
