Secret Santas Invade Petersen Medical!

This year Petersen Medical's service has ranged from donating supplies to young pregnant mothers, cutting material to make bears for abused children, sponsoring wheelchair races for Camp Kostopulos and rubber ducky races for the Make-a-Wish Foundation to helping individual families with medical hardships.

Each time, we asked our employees to donate time, talent, and energy to assist with these causes.  And, the response of the employees was heartwarming.  It was great to see how many embraced our core value "Serve Others First".
As a fun service to culminate our year of service, we organized a Secret Santa activity for all the employees who wanted to participate. From December 1st through 15, those who signed up to be Secret Santas were tasked with delivering four gifts to their person. There are only two rules: four gifts were to be given during the two weeks and no one was to spend more than $10 total on the four gifts.

It was fun to see the creativity.  One Secret Santa decorated their person's desk:

Another Secret Santa drew a fireplace (and window) so her stocking could be "hung by the chimney with care".

The activity ended with a gathering around a chocolate fountain with lots of food to dip into the fountain. Secret Santas were unveiled; employees got their chocolate "fix", enjoyed one another's company and then went back to work.

It was a great finish to a great year of service!
